Thread lifts are suitable for anyone needing a significantly lifted appearance without heaviness . They can be used in conjunction with fillers and botox or on their own for jawls, marrionette lines, defined jaw line and cheek bones. Thread lifts use absorbable threads, preloaded to small needles, to lift and tighten sagging skin on the face and neck. The procedure is relatively painless, done under local anaesthesia (topical or injected with very small needles). Minor bruising, moderate degree of pain and swelling is expected in the next 2 days, which can be relieved with simple pain killers and anti-inflammatory medication. The results are expected to last for 12 months.
